Scots comedian Kevin Bridges has expressed his interest in taking on EITHER the Top Gear or One Direction job after Zayn Malik quit the band and the BBC confirmed Jeremy Clarkson was leaving his post yesterday.
The Clydebank funnyman tweeted to the official accounts of One Direction and the BBC show expressing that they need to look no further for the right candidate. We don't know if Kevin has what it takes to be in a boy band but with a provisional driving licence, he might be just a step closer to that Top Gear job.

And it seems Kevin was hopeful that the BBC will consider him...Thank you to everyone supporting me in my @BBC_TopGear presenting dream. Hopefully hear back soon. #motors
