A man has been arrested after the death of a man who was found injured in the street.
Dean Sharkey Carroll, 27, was found in Fernslea Avenue, Blantyre, South Lanarkshire, at around 2.30am on Saturday.
Mr Carroll, from Hamilton, was taken to hospital by ambulance but died a short time after he was admitted.
A 30-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the death.
He is expected to appear at Hamilton Sheriff Court tomorrow.
