A 44-year-old man has been arrested after an alleged assault outside a polling station in Clydebank, Dunbartonshire.
The man was taken into custody after the alleged incident in Faifley Road, at around 8.30 this morning.
A police spokeswoman said: "Police Scotland can confirm that a 44-year-old man has been arrested in connection with an alleged assault outside a polling place in Faifley Road, Clydebank at 8.30am today.
"A report will be submitted to the procurator fiscal."
The man was due to appear at Dunbartonshire Sheriff Court on tomorrow.
