A MAN has been arrested after claiming to have a bomb in Glasgow's city centre.
The 47-year-old is understood to have been drinking in a city casino last night when he suggested that he had an explosive.
He was arrested for wasting police time, as well as theft and a breach of the peace and is due to appear at Glasgow Sheriff Court later today.
A Police Scotland spokeswoman said: "A 47-year-old man has been arrested and is presently detained in police custody.
"He has been arrested in connection with allegedly wasting police time, alleged theft and alleged breach of the peace following an incident in the city centre on Tuesday night."
