A man has been indicted for the murder of a waiter more than 16 years ago, prosecutors said.
Ronnie Coulter was indicted for the murder of Surjit Singh Chhokar in North Lanarkshire in 1998, the Crown Office said.
He appeared in private at Hamilton Sheriff Court on December 12 last year in connection with the death of Mr Chhokar.
Coulter, from Wishaw, North Lanarkshire, made no plea or declaration and was released on bail following that court appearance.
A preliminary hearing in the case will call at Glasgow High Court on February 24.
