Man struck by van in Glasgow's Gallowgate
A MAN was taken to hospital after being hit by a van during the morning rush hour.
The collision happened shortly after 9am on Thursday at the Gallowgate in the East End.
The male pedestrian suffered a head injury in the crash and was taken by ambulance to Glasgow Royal Infirmary.
A Police Scotland spokeswoman said: "A man was struck by a van near the Bellgrove Hotel in Gallowgate at 9.05am.
"He was taken to hospital."
