A man is to stand trial charged with raping a woman in Glasgow's Merchant City.
Daly McSorley is accused of a sex attack on the 24-year-old in the city's Brunswick Street on June 8 last year.
The charge includes a claim the 23 year-old, of Hamilton, Lanarkshire, seized hold of the woman by the body and pinned her against a wall.
McSorley's advocate Louise Arrol today pled not guilty on his behalf during a short hearing at the High Court in Glasgow.
Judge Lord Bannatyne set a trial due to begin in August.
The case is expected to last up to four days
