A MURDER probe has been launched after the body of a man was discovered in Prestwick.
Arthur Green was found dead by a relative at his home in Pleasantfield Road, on Thursday morning.
Detectives were initially treating the 60-year-old's death as unexplained.
But after a post mortem examination, police say they are now treating his death as murder.
He was last seen alive at around 10.30pm last Wednesday and his body was discovered the next day at 8.10am.
