ONE of Glasgow's main museums has closed following gas leak fears.
Scotland Street School Museum shut this morning after staff discovered a suspected gas leak.
Gas engineers are currently on the site to investigate the problem.
A notice on the Glasgow Life website reads: "Due to unforeseen circumstances Scotland Street School Museum has had to close today. All other Glasgow Museums are open as normal."
A spokesman for Glasgow Life, which runs the museum, said: "Scotland Street School Museum was closed after a suspected gas leak.
"Gas engineers have been informed and we hope to have the museum reopened as soon as possible."
He added that more information would be released when the situation is resolved.
It is hoped Scotland Street School Museum will open as normal tomorrow.
