The footballers visited the KSL hair clinic in Glasgow yesterday to undergo an Follicular Unit Extraction procedure - which takes around six hours.

The pair showed off their new look on Twitter - and are said to be delighted by the results of the procedure which involves a surgeon extracting hair from the back of the head and putting it on top.

Simon Lindsay, who is owner of the company, said: "They are very happy with the result of the procedure and it was great of them to post it on Twitter.

"I have it done myself. It restore your confidence for one thing and it just gets rid of one of the barriers that many young men face in life."

Simon admits that he has had a few celebrity clients but Stokes and Griffiths are the first to have gone public with their new look.
