Example and Kasabian added to Glasgow's Big Weekend

EXAMPLE and Kasabian have been added to the line-up at next month's Radio 1 Big Weekend in Glasgow.

BBC Radio 1’s Zane Lowe this evening announced the line-up for the In New Music We Trust Stage at  Glasgow Green on Saturday 24th and Sunday 25th May.

Example will headline Europe’s largest free music festival on Saturday whilst Kasabian will headline on Sunday. 

Joining Example will be Lorde, The Kooks,  Katy B, Twin Atlantic and Wilkinson. Sunday's line-up will include Klaxons, Sam Smith and CHVRCHES.

Other acts confirmed include One Direction, Katy Perry, Coldplay and Kings of Leon.

All 50,000 tickets for Radio 1’s Big Weekend Live from Glasgow Green were given away earlier this month in an incredible 35 minutes.
