Tennis superstar Andy Murray got a swatch around Hampden Park - after hours.

The Scot is in Glasgow preparing for the Davis Cup, and he has been spending his free time taking in the sights including a visit to the home of football.

Murray and his teammates face the USA at the Emirates Arena in Glasgow this weekend.

Brother Jamie Murray is also competing at the event.

He said: "Spent a bit of time looking around Hampden Park after practice today... Beautiful stadium.."

Andy also posted a snap of Edinburgh Castle on Instagram, confessing he loved the view.

Murray has previously admitted to his love of football by confessing he supports English Premier League side Arsenal.

The star, whose training base is in Miami, is often also spotted watching basketball games.

He has a season ticket for local side Miami Heat.
