TRAIN passengers faced chaos today after a major fault hit Glasgow's network.
Passengers travelling in and out of Glasgow Central were hit by last-minute cancellations and delays as a result of the overhead line problem.
Services between Glasgow and East Kilbride, Kilmarnock, Ayr, Wemyss Bay, Ardrossan and Largs were all affected.
Network Rail confirmed engineers had been sent to the site near Glasgow Central and work was underway to repair the problem.
