POLICE are investigating after a man was assaulted in Glasgow.

The 21-year-old was attacked near Bath Lane at Hope Street, in the city centre, at around 3am today.
Emergency services attended the scene and the man was taken to Glasgow Royal Infirmary.
Officers were today standing guard at the opening of the lane as the probe continued.
A Police Scotland spokeswoman said the man was “being treated for his injuries” in hospital.
She added: “Inquiries are continuing.”
An ambulance spokesman confirmed they attended the incident.
