A missing pensioner who suffers from dementia has been found safe and well
James Bannatyne - who is known as Dougie - disappeared from Avonbridge Nursing Home in Hamilton.
The 76-year-old was last seen by staff at the home in Old Avon Road at around 11am on Monday.
Police Scotland's helicopter and specialist dog unit were brought in to search for the pensioner.
Police Scotland confirmed he has been found safe and well.
