A POLICEMAN has been injured after being stabbed in the leg while attending a disturbance in Glasgow.
The officer was taken to hospital following the incident in Hutton Drive in Govan.
A Police Scotland spokeswoman said his injuries were not life threatening.
She said: "Around 1.05pm, while attending an incident in the Govan area, a Police Scotland officer was injured.
"The officer has been taken to hospital for treatment and his injuries are not life threatening.
"Two men have been detained in connection with a disturbance in the area and inquiries are continuing to establish the exact circumstance."
Police are carrying out inquires to establish the exact circumstances of the incident.
