Power fault causes disruption to rail travellers
RAIL passengers were facing Hogmanay travel disruption due to a power fault.
The problem affected Scotrail services from Glasgow Central to Whifflet and Edinburgh Waverley.
Trains were reduced to an hourly service and were terminating at Holytown.
The fault was fixed by 9.30am but passengers were warned to expect some delays.
