Two teenagers have been arrested over an alleged sexual assault on two boys.
Police said they were contacted earlier this week over an incident which took place in the Castlemilk area of Glasgow at some point over the last year.
It relates to an attack on two boys, aged nine and 12.
Two teenage boys aged 14 and 15 have been arrested in connection the incident.
A police spokeswoman said: "We received a report at around 11am on Monday of two boys, aged nine and 12, being subjected to an assault in the Castlemilk area in the past 12 months by two other boys.
"We can confirm that two boys, one 14-years-old and one 15-years-old, have been arrested in connection with this incident.
"A report will be submitted both to the procurator fiscal and the children's reporter."
