If you hear someone shouting "You Tube!" the next time you're playing 5-a-sides, it might mean more than the usual football banter.

Tennent's Lager has revealed that it's set to make the beautiful game 'pitch-ure perfect' by allowing teams to capture video highlights (and lowlights) on demand throughout their matches.

Called T5s, the technology allows players to capture and upload the last 20 seconds of action by simply hitting one of four giant red buttons positioned on the sidelines.

Forget transfer windows - the images will appear automatically, letting players review their performance - for better or worse - as soon as the final whistle blows via social media or the dedicated app.

So, whether it's a dodgy tackle, a cheeky nutmeg, or an amazing goal that's been scored, all players need to do is hit the button to immortalise those golden 5-a-side moments.

Launching at Rouken Glen, East Kilbride and Ayr throughout February, players can save their own videos to their T5s profile page, creating a personal playlist of their finest (and funniest) moments.

An accompanying T5s smartphone app will also make it easy for players to organise games, invite their mates and issue awards after games, from Man of the Match, to Best Goal, or Most Embarrassing Miss.

Jane Cannon, Marketing Manager for Tennent's Lager, said: "T5s is set to make a game of fives with your pals a lot more interesting.

"Tennent's has had a long association with football - but the game has never seen anything like this before. We're really excited to introduce it. Now, anyone that plays fives can get their very own highlights package and share it online too.

"We're introducing it to three locations initially and we'd urge teams to book well in advance - we think it's going to be really popular."

Rouken Glen Prosoccer (0141 621 4459) will launch on February 18, followed by Ayr Prosoccer (01292 280606) and East Kilbride Playsport (01355 570057) at the end of the month.

Wannabe soccer stars should call the centres to book a pitch.
