ROD Stewart was a proud spectator at Parkhead last night as he watched his son Alastair taking his place as a Celtic mascot.
Alastair, who was celebrating his ninth birthday, took the field wearing a Celtic jersey and holding the hand of Austria Salzburg goalkeeper Peter Gulacsi.
Sadly for Rod - a Celtic regular - the Europa League match ended in a 3-1 defeat although Celtic qualified for the next stage of the
competition.
