Three arrests as body found in Largs

Three people have been arrested after the body of a man was found outside his home.

William McLachlan, 57, was found dead outside his house in Holehouse Road, Largs, North Ayrshire, just before 7am yesterday.

Police Scotland said three men, two aged 20 and one aged 19, have been arrested in connection with the death and are being held in police custody.

They are expected to appear at Kilmarnock Sheriff Court tomorrow.

Mr McLachlan's relatives have been informed about the death and a report will be sent to the procurator fiscal.
