A THUG who brutally stabbed a stranger later whined he did not want to go to jail, a court heard.
Lee McIntosh, 20, knifed Kenny Drew nine times following a house party in Cumbernauld, North Lanarkshire in September last year.
He flew into a rage after the victim made a comment about McIntosh bizarrely walking about the flat with paper over his face.
But, McIntosh is now behind bars after he pleaded guilty to assaulting Mr Drew to the danger of his life.
The 20-year-old will learn his fate next month.
The High Court in Glasgow heard how after stabbing his victim McIntosh yelled:"I've not got the knife - I don't want to go to jail."
Judge Lady Rae deferred sentencing for reports until next month.
