A PEDESTRIAN was injured after being hit by a car in Glasgow's City Centre.
The woman was knocked down at the pedestrian crossing in West Nile Street, at the junction with Sauchiehall Street near to coffee shop Pret a Manger.
Police closed off the road between Renfrew Street and Sauchiehall Street, causing tailbacks for motorists in West Nile Street.
The incident happened at around 11am. The woman received treatment from paramedics at the scene.
