Two schools in North Lanarkshire are to remain closed on Friday after being damaged in the storm.
Our Lady and St Joseph's Primary School in Glenboig suffered damage to the roof and will not be open to pupils.
Glenboig Primary School, part of the campus shared with Our Lady and St Joseph's, will also remain closed.
A council spokesman said it had sustained "severe roof damage" during the storm.
