Two women have been arrested and charged after an 18-month-old girl was found wandering alone on the street.
A passer-by called police when he found the girl in Grangemouth at about 2pm yesterday.
She was taken to hospital as a precaution for a check-up.
Police Scotland said two women, aged 33 and 54, have been arrested and charged under the Children and Young Persons Act.
They are expected to appear at Falkirk Sheriff Court tomorrow.
