Wanted: two men in this video after Govanhill rape

Police today released CCTV footage of two men they want to speak to in connection with asex attack on a 24-year-old woman in Govanhill.

The footage has been uploaded on to YouTube as part of an appeal for both men to come forward.

Detectives from the Rape Investigation Unit appealed for information following the attack in Dixon Road, in the early hours of
Monday, May 19.

Both men were seen in the area of Allison Street, near to Cathcart Road, between midnight and 1.30am.

One man has a sallow complexion and very dark hair, and was wearing a dark jumper, trousers and white trainers.

The second also has a sallow complexion and dark hair. He too was wearing dark coloured clothing.

Detectives today took the unusual move of releasing CCTV in which a woman can be seen.

Footage from CCTV cameras across the South Side has been examined in a bid to find out more about the attack.

Anyone with any information is asked to contact Police Scotland on 101.
