A DEATH probe is today under way after a man was found dead and a woman was seriously injured in East Renfrewshire.
The 47-year-old woman was attacked at the house in Bonnyton Drive, Eaglesham, at about 11.20pm on Saturday.
She is today in a critical condition at Hairmyers Hospital in East Kilbride.
At around 9.10am on Sunday, the body of a 45-year-old man was found in the garden of a property in Bonnyton Drive.
Police said his death was not suspicious and officers are not looking for anyone else in connection with the attack.
