The William Patrick reference library in Kirkintilloch will re- open on March 29.

The closure will not affect the main lending library, although access to PCs and study areas, as well as photocopying, faxing and scanning services will be limited during this time.

Mark Grant, general manager of East Dunbartonshire Leisure and Culture Trust, said: "We apologise to members of the public for any inconvenience this may cause, but we will do our best to minimise any disruption.

"Once refurbished, the reference library will offer improved facilities."
