UKIP leader Nigel Farage will speak to candidates and voters in Scotland via video link at a general election campaign launch.
The party will launch its Scottish campaign for the forthcoming election at Renfield St Stephen's Church Centre in Glasgow on Saturday.
Ukip MEP David Coburn, the party's only elected member in Scotland, and Scottish chairman Arthur Misty Thackeray will join speakers from around the UK.
Mr Farage was involved in a public confrontation when he held a press conference in The Canons' Gait pub in the Royal Mile near the Scottish Parliament in May 2013.
He intended to promote his Donside candidate Otto Inglis but the event was cut short when protesters mobbed the room.
