THE rail union RMT plans to hold protests at stations on the east coast mainline on Thursday between 8am and 9am.
The union wants to keep the route in public hands after two recent private sector failures.
RMT general secretary Bob Crow said: "RMT will continue to fight to keep the east coast mainline in public ownership."
