The £125million Hydro Arena, by the SECC, is due to open later this month with Rod Stewart the headline act.
Over the next few weeks, some of the key people involved with the venue will give Evening Times readers behind-the-scenes glimpse of the final push to ensure the doors open on time.
With just a few weeks to go until The SSE Hydro says hello to the public, we first meet two members from the front-of-house team at the venue.
Gerry McInally is the Hydro's Venue Services Manager, and Amy Connelly, the centre's Visitor Experience Manager
Facing the River Clyde, the venue's front-of-house area will be the main entrance for visitors and VIPs.
There will be two foyers on the first and second floors, which will be open and outward facing, giving views across the Clyde and the surrounding area.
When you arrive at the venue you will be greeted by a member of the team who will check your tickets and direct you to your seat, or the arena bowl if you're standing. En route, you can stop at one of the venue's many bars for a couple of drinks, some food or to browse the merchandise on offer.
There will be a range of catering offerings available, with five designated food outlets, nine bars and various lounges.
Keeping an eye on all goings on will be Gerry, the venue's duty manager for concerts and special events.
Gerry said: "This magnificent arena will host a broad range of events, including theatre, comedy, concerts and sports.
"Our customer demographic will change depending on the event, but regardless of who is visiting The Hydro it's my job - with the support of the SECC team - to make sure that we meet our customers' expectations and provide them with a fantastic and memorable experience."
Forthcoming attractions include Disney on Ice, the X Factor Live tour and shows by chart stars Bruno Mars and Chase & Status.
Amy heads up the Hydro's visitor experience team and is in charge of setting best practice for the care and service provided to the public.
She said: "We want to ensure that everyone has the best possible time, from the moment they hear about the event going on sale to the moment they leave at the end of the night.
"Our visitor experience department send out customer information prior to an event - e-cards, mail outs, all the details you need for a great night out."
l Next week we will be meeting members of back of house team, responsible for every event, from the minute it is confirmed until the doors close after a gig.
