THE Ideal Home Show Scotland has announced Erskine as the official charity partner for its 2013 Homes for Heroes Appeal.
Launched in 2009, The Ideal Home Show Homes for Heroes Appeal provides funding for much-needed adaptations to the homes of forces veterans and their families.
To date the fund has raised more than £350,000 to support the cause.
Rob Nathan, on behalf of Ideal Homes Show Scotland, said: "We are thrilled to be working with Erskine on such a worthwhile and meaningful cause and to be able to help with this project is a huge honour for the show."
Erskine first opened its doors in 1916 to care for the wounded of the First World War and has since cared for more than 75,000 veterans.
In addition to its purpose-built care homes, Erskine provides accommodation for former members of the Armed Forces at 44 cottages within its Bishopton Estate.
A five-year replacement programme to rebuild all the occupied homes on the estate began in 2009.
The fifth and final phase has been completed, providing residents with bright, easy-to- maintain and fuel-efficient accommodation.
This year's Ideal Homes Show Scotland will have a showcase garden, Erskine – A Garden Fit for Hero, which will give visitors the opportunity to experience the designs of Erskine's veterans' cottages.
Ideal Home Show Scotland is on at the SECC from May 24-27.
