BRING it on.
That is the message from city retailers who really do expect to hit the high "notes" when the MTV roadshow comes calling, bringing with it thousands of potential shoppers.
Anne Ledgerwood, left, is general manager of the St Enoch Centre and also chairs the City Centre Retail Association and knows that major events often mean busy tills.
She said: "Hosting the MTV EMA is an incredible opportunity for Glasgow. It has the potential to generate millions of pounds for the Scottish economy and promote the city to an international TV audience of more than half a billion.
"Not only will it significantly boost our visitor appeal among music fans and show the world just how vibrant and exciting Glasgow has become, it's also good news for our retailers."
