MEXICO: Flights to and from the airport of Puebla, a city southeast of Mexico City, have been halted as ash from nearby Popocatepetl volcano covered the runway.
The 17,900ft mountain which lies 50 miles southeast of the capital, closed Puebla airport in May last year when it spewed an ash cloud.
The airport will stay closed until further notice.
