MOTORISTS should expect delays in Glasgow today while water repairs are carried out.
The west-bound carriageway of Paisley Road West will be partially closed from 9.30am today until Saturday to allow Scottish Water to repair a burst water main.
A section of the busy road between Edmiston Drive and Broomloan Road will be affected.
The repairs are expected to take up to five days, with local diversions in place, and delays are expected, especially during peak periods.
A spokesman for Scottish Water said: "The closure of the road is for safety reasons to enable Scottish Water to repair a burst water main.
"The road traffic management will mean some delays to west-bound traffic and road-users are advised to allow extra time for journeys, especially at peak traffic times.
"We apologise for any inconvenience caused and thank road-users and others affected by the road traffic management for their patience and understanding."
Drivers are advised to use alternative routes where possible.
