A woman who died in hospital after a crash involving a car and a van has been named.

Berenike Walburg, from Frankfurt, Germany, was driving a Vauxhall Corsa that was in a crash with a Citroen Relay on the A96 near Huntly, Aberdeenshire, on Saturday. She was airlifted to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary but died of her injuries. The van driver, 59, is being treated for a broken breastbone at hospital in Elgin. His injuries are not life-threatening.
