A WOMAN is in hospital today after a sledging accident in a Glasgow park.
Paramedics raced to Kelvingrove Park in the West End at around 3.30pm on Sunday.
She was taken to the Western Infirmary and later transferred to the Southern General Hospital.
The woman is understood to be fighting for her life.
A Scottish Ambulance Service spokesman said: "A woman was taken to the Western Infirmary and then transferred to the Southern General Hospital after a sledging incident in Kelvingrove Park.
"We attended the incident at around 3.30pm at the Kelvin Way entrance to the park. We have no further details on her injuries."
