Voters in Glasgow South spoke to AMY MCDONALD about issue important to them.

Eugene McBride, 61, a salesman from Pollok, said: "In my opinion the economy is in big trouble.

"No one has got an answer.

"Nicola Sturgeon is the only politician that has got a grasp of what the people need and the SNP have proved that they can meet their targets.

"Young people are being forced into work and pensioners are not getting enough money."

Ronnie Mears, 42, a domestic energy assessor from Glasgow, said: "The economy is a big issue.

"I don't think we are feeling the benefit of the supposed recovery.

"I also don't see much social justice and I think the NHS and education are being squeezed."

Kirsty Peacock, 44, a recruitment consultant from Langside, said: "There is no social justice.

"I want to see everyone paying tax.

"The NHS and education also need more money put towards them."

Vickie McLafferty, 67, retired from Glasgow, said: "Jobs and unemployment are the most important issue.

"If it was easier for people to get jobs then it would make society a better place."

Eric Henderson, 65, retired from Newlands, said: "My pension is an issue.

"There's more talk that pensions are going to be cut.

"I'm worried about this."

Stephen Dornan, 57, councillor for Govan, said: "Scotland needs to have more of a voice in Westminster.

"It's unprecedented the way things are just now.

"Most of the politicians at Westminster are liars."
