Give Glasgow a fair share of cash
WINNING the 2014 Games for Glasgow was a coup not just for the city but for the whole of the UK.
That means it must be backed 100% by the Westminster government and given its full share of the cash essential to make it a success.
Although the Glasgow event is being funded by the Scottish government and the city council, Lottery money would provide more investment opportunities It is right that the London Olympics get a large slice of Lottery cash to ensure their success.
However, this must not be at the expense of Scotland and the Glasgow games.
