1 Gartloch:
The former asylum near Gartcosh was closed in 1996 after 100 years as a hospital.
2 Duke Street: Officially the Eastern District Hospital, the red sandstone building opened in 1904.
3 Belvidere: In Parkhead, it housed a smallpox hospital iin the 1870s before closing in 1999.
4 Town's Hospital and Poorhouse: The building on Clyde Street housed an infirmary, workhouse and asylum.
5 Ruchill: Originally a fever hospital, the BBC drama Cardiac Arrest was filmed there.
6 Rottenrow: Formerly the city's maternity hospital, a nappy pin statue stands on the site.
7 Canniesburn: Now a care home and flats, the hospital sat on the road to Bearsden.
8 Knightswood: A former infectious diseases hospital, it was given over to a housing development.
9 Cowglen: Used by the military during the Second World War, it was demolished in 2002.
10 Royal Samaritan Hospital for Women: In Coplaw Street, Govanhill, it was closed in 1991.
