PEOPLE always say it, but let's be honest it's true, how quickly does time fly by?

I can't believe we are approaching the end of September in 2015, I mean it feels like only yesterday I was sitting

on January 2 signing up for a gym membership online, swearing an oath to the God of health and well being above that this was the year I was getting it together and swapping red wine for coconut water, crisps for carrot sticks and getting that hot Hollywood body I know is under there somewhere just dying to metafit its tight little touché out into the world.

Blink and here we are steamrolling right into October without a care in the world, ready to brave the six months plus of winter that lies before us as we build up to, dare I even utter the word, Christmas.

I know, I know, some of you have just thrown this paper down in disgust giving it "aw that's it, that's the day ruined then.

She's only gone and said the C word in September" but honestly it's completely unavoidable for you see I'm Christmas daft at the moment thanks to a little thing called Panto, oh yes I am (apologies I simply couldn't resist). As some of you will know I'm beyond excited to be starring alongside David Hasselhoff and The Krankies in the

SECC Panto Peter Pan which kicks off on Saturday December 12.

On Sunday we held auditions to find the roles of little John and Michael for this year's production.

Myself, Jonathan Kiley executive producer from Qdos and Sheridan Nicol director of Jazzartuk were on the judging panel and honestly what an incredibly difficult job we had on our hands.

The level of talent from Glasgow that walked through those doors on Sunday morning was simply jaw dropping. Every boy came and knocked our socks off and I couldn't believe some of the kids were as young as six, no actually six-and-a-half, as I was quite rightly corrected on the day by one lovely wee man who was very proud of that extra six months.

Wait until you get to my age son, you'll be trying in vain to chop off the years not adding them on.

In the end it was such a tough decision but there could only be four boys chosen to play the roles of Michael and

John and I'm delighted to say that Gregor Selkirk from Bearsden, Adam Cornes from Coatbridge, Zack Molyneaux from Ralston and Logan McKenzie from Johnston are the lucky boys joining our cast this year as we head off on our adventures to Neverland.

We also selected 10 other children to play our lost boys so it's going to be a very busy stage at the Armadillo in

Glasgow, but I just know we are going to have the most fun and I can't wait for you all to see it.

I was actually down in London a few weeks ago trying on my mermaid costumes and December can't come quickly enough for me as they are honestly the most beautiful garments I've ever had on my body and you're talking to the woman who once owned a pair of green sequinned leggings and matching waistcoat, which I proudly wore to my Primary 7 School disco back in 1992 and boy did I rock that look.

It's going to be the most exciting show in town with the legendary Krankies back doing what they do best and with Hollywood legend David Hasselhoff actually performing here in Glasgow as Captain Hook for only three weeks, you'd be Hoff your Head to miss it.

Well tonight's the night, Michelle McManus' Reality: The Musical Tour kicks off in The Beacon Arts Centre today at 7.30pm.

I actually can't wait to get out there as we've put so much work into the show and it's the very first time I've ever toured on my own.

Next stop is The Gardyne Theatre in Dundee on Friday night and after that it's Aberdeen Arts Centre on October 9,

The Gaiety Theatre in Ayr on October 14, Eden Court in Inverness on October 21 and finishing off at The Regal Theatre Bathgate on October 22.

Thank you so very much to everyone who has bought tickets so far.

I'm extremely grateful and just hope you love the show.

For those who you who missed my follow up show Reloaded at this year's Edinburgh Festival, fear not as I'm performing the Show at The Stand Comedy Club in Glasgow on Wednesday night, September 30 and again on Saturday October 3 at the HaHa Hamilton Comedy Festival.

Busy month coming up indeed.
