I’m excited to tell you that we launched our new offices this week!
We had the lovely Louisa Johnson performing, what a voice! Paul and I got up and hosted as well, obviously cracked the odd joke but to be honest, we had a Pick and Mix brought in especially for all of the guests so you can guess where we wanted to spend most of the evening.
It’s safe to say Glasgow had Bieber fever this week! Maybe you were one of the thousands that went to the SSE Hydro to see him... I went on Sunday night and I have to say it was one of the best gigs I’ve been to in ages. The SSE Hydro is a great venue; I was standing but felt like I was so close to him he could almost hear me singing. Which judging by my performance at Shanghai Shuffle in Glasgow afterwards, was nothing Bieber would like to hear. I sang the Spice Girls on karaoke and thought I was Scottish Spice (they totally should have had this by the way).
If you weren't lucky enough to see the real Bieber, maybe you spotted our fake Justin Bieber in Glasgow on Saturday? Paul and I got in 'The Justin Bieber Experience'…they turned a few heads on Saturday in town! We streamed it live on the Heart Scotland Facebook page and gave away the last pair of tickets too...check it out on Facebook.
Halloween this year was something special. It took me forever to work out what to dress up as though. Naturally after a few hours of thought, who else would pop in to my head than the 90s Saturday night phenomenon Mr. Blobby! He hasn’t been spotted since Noels House Party way back when. I couldn’t believe it but… I won a best dressed trophy for my epic Blobby costume!! I took that as compensation for a night spent in an inflatable costume, which meant that having a conversation, or drinking, or eating or anything for that matter wasn’t the easiest. Non the less, what a great costume. Paul made me wear it on Monday during the show and filmed me trying to get into it, what a laugh. I hope you had a good Halloween, now it's over, I hate to say it but the countdown to Christmas is on...yay!
