Merry Christmas everyone! Well, in less than month!

The Coca Cola truck was at Silverburn this week and the Christmas lights are being turned on across Glasgow and the West. I turned on the lights at East Kilbride and Hamilton this week. I was joined for the big switch on by S Club 7. Frighteningly they debuted 17 years ago! Despite the years, I bet you still remember the words and can’t help but dance to Reach. These days they aren’t half the band they used to be, there’s only three of them left! They're 42.857143% of the band, to be precise. There still ain’t no party like an S Club party.

This weekend I’m switching on the lights in Kirkintilloch on Saturday and Cambuslang on Sunday. Come and say hi if you can.

The Mannequin Challenge is going to be a must moment at your office Christmas party this year. Well, I'm sure other stuff will happen that you’d love to film, but we recommend you don’t. Do the letters and numbers P45 mean anything to you? Footballers, politicians and movie stars have all taken part in these videos this week. So did these Heart listeners in East Kilbride.

It’s not all festive cheer in Glasgow though. Lynne & I think we’ve found Scotland’s saddest Christmas tree. Starbucks between West Nile Street & Nelson Mandela Place has the saddest tree in the city. No lights, no tinsel, no star, no love. You almost want to take it home and give it a cuddle.

This week we’ve been talking about the weird sight you sometimes see in town, a tree with a scarf tied around its trunk. I always thought that was a sign something bad had happened there. Actually this American craze is a way to share something warm with our homeless. We LOVE this idea. To avoid offence, we recommend avoiding leaving green and blue ones.

Finally, you HAVE to listen to Heart this week for your chance to see Robbie Williams at Heart Live with Diet Coke. Our small private gig at a secret location with Robbie has the whole country freaking out! Imagine being so close to Robbie that you can touch him (I’m not sure this is actually allowed). He’ll play his greatest hits plus some from his new album, Heavy Entertainment Show. We love his new single Love My Life. It’s very Come Undone/Feel.

Next week in the column Lynne and I have details of a new thing called the reverse advent calendar plus we’ll tell you how you can win a car full of Christmas presents. Till then, happy Christmas shopping!
