As we get closer to Christmas, the party invites are coming in, and as well as our Christmas party tonight (which we will be sure to fill you in on next week) Paul and I attended the CHAS Christmas Bash for children’s charities. It was a great night at the Hilton Hotel in Glasgow and to top it all off a lot of money was raised for these charities; Calum’s Cabin, Debra, Home start Renfrewshire and the DM Thomas foundation.
Paul was hosting the event and invited me along, he told me I’d be fed and Shane Ritchie would be there performing with his band - how could a girl say no? So, that was me sold! When I got there I joined Paul on stage during the auction which was great, and nice to see so many people dig deep for amazing children’s charities!

Speaking of being ‘Christmas party ready', three words every girl knows oh too well over this festive period... The prep had already begun for me on Tuesday this week for Heart Scotland’s Christmas party… which is on tonight. Yes, that gave me three whole days to get everything all wrapped up and looking fabulous for the Hilton tonight. This week…I’ve gone from blonde to grey, ordered about 4 dresses and still haven't decided which one to wear, plus had fake tan & my makeup done professionally. I'll be ready to party!
The Heart Scotland Christmas party is approaching…. it’s time for a new hairdo!
Such an effort goes in to one night, and after a few hours the shoes are off, mascara is smudged and there's drink stains on your dress from dancing about too much...or is that just me? It really is the big night out of the year so if you've still to have your Christmas party, then enjoy it!
We have some great stuff lined up next week as Paul and I are on Heart Breakfast for Robin and Adele, including playing this year’s most wanted and sold-out board game on air every morning. You know how on the last week of school before the Christmas break, you’d wind down and bring in board games. Well, I guess we are doing the same thing on Heart. You don’t want to miss it! There is lots of great festive fun to be had the week before Christmas.
