LISA HAGUE told me she had to get a pep talk from her ex-Celtic and Hibs fiance Kris Commons during her first feature film project.

Chatty Lisa and I met for a catch-up at The Dhabba, Candleriggs, and gabbed about her film Isolani, which has its premiere at GFT tonight.

She produced and acts in the film, which is about a young mother called Isla caught up in trouble after witnessing a murder.

Lisa admitted: “I did cry on day three of filming because I was tired, it was cold and I thought ‘this is going to be the longest month ever’.

“On day three Kris said to me, ‘You’ve got to buck your ideas up and get your head on and wear a vest.’ He told me to get my game head on.

“I think it was tiredness on day three because after that I did get my head round more and made sure I wore a lot of warm clothing.”

Lisa, who has invited Elaine C Smith, Grado and Des Clarke to the premiere with Atta Yaquib, admits she’d love to do it all again.

She said: “I’ve warmed up to it since. Filming is like childbirth. You say ‘never again’, then warm back up to it.”
