Here is the latest in our series of blogs by Glasgow students.

It's time to complete the Harry Potter journey after studying, studying and more studying. Fresher's week started off by a screening of all eight Harry Potter films back to back in the Students' Union, which I was very excited to be part of. As a big fan, I visited the original studios of where filming took place in Watford, back in February 2014. One year late, I never thought I would be travelling on the equivalent of the Hogwarts Express. It was only after moving to Glasgow that I had come to realise about some extra locations that had to be discovered. I was feeling jealous when my international friends, who are overly fond of exploring Scotland had uploaded pictures of the bridge at Glenfinnan Viaduct on Instagram and Facebook. I moved from Manchester to complete a master's degree. Many people have asked, will you be going on to do a PhD - definitely not. As an Asian, it's quite common to go that extra level further, but I think to be a master of journalism is enough. Some of my friends have gone beyond to complete a PhD and doctorate study, but all they ever seem to do is have their heads stuck in books. I'd always think to myself, when will they travel to see the country before they fly back home? Through the last five years as a student, I have grown to play hard as well as work hard. I have also grown a passion for travelling. I have come a long way to stay in Glasgow and it may be the only opportunity that I have. My time as student is also coming to an end and this whole academic year has drained me out. After staying here for six months, I have still not managed to explore the city and other parts of the country besides sitting on Glasgow's sightseeing bus on the first weekend I arrived. Yet, that day feels long gone. Finally, the opportunity has risen. The journey begins with a climb up Glasgow Tower near the Science Centre and the Lighthouse in Princess Square, this week. I have also discovered that the peaks of Buachaille Etive Mor and Buachaille Etive Beag near Glencoe has been the home to filming the final scenes of the recent James Bond movie, Skyfall. A VIP experience package is also available to visit all James Bond filming locations in Scotland. James Bond could be the new adventure to embark upon. But for now, tickets have been booked on The Jacobite steam train. Let the journey begin!
