OKAY so I have a confession to make.

I have a huge crush on the lovely Adele and it's becoming a little bit of an obsession.

Now let's be clear, I've always been a fan of Adele.

With that heavenly voice and sensational song writing ability who couldn’t be, right?

This time around though she has never looked or sounded better.

When I first heard the short clip of her single, Hello, I got goosebumps just at the sheer quality of her vocal, but when I saw the video in full I was completely blown away by just how incredible she is looking.

Adele has always been a curvy girl but she's clearly lost some weight in between albums and I think she is looking stunning.

I've been so inspired by her new look that I'm now seriously giving myself a massive kick up the backside when it comes to healthy eating and exercise, because in all honesty I would love to look that good too.

Now don't get me wrong I love Adele's attitude to the whole weight issue as she was once famously quoted as saying: “I make music for the ears not the eyes,” and that is indeed exactly what music should be for, but there is simply no denying she is looking so happy and healthy for the release of her new album, 25, which I have to say I love.

With this new healthy body blitz task I've set myself and the five weeks of Panto rehearsals and performance ahead of me with The Hoff and The Krankies putting me through my paces, I should be guaranteed a better figure come February next year when I begin rehearsals for the Vagina Monologues alongside my wonderful pals Cat Harvey, Queen of the airwaves and the one and only May Miller, Queen of Glasgow.

Yes we three ladies have been cast in Scotland's newest production of the show and will be directed by the the very talented Liam Dolan as we bring this internationally acclaimed show to South Lanarkshire throughout the month of February.

I first performed Eve Ensler's piece back in 2006 in Northern Ireland at the Millenium Theatre in Derry or at least I think I did as it's all a bit of a blur now thanks to the copious amount of after show drinks consumed at Badgers Bar across the road from the theatre every night.

I did the show again in 2009 alongside Kaye Adams, Gail Porter and Karen Dunbar in a week long run at the Edinburgh Playhouse but I'm thinking this time around will absolutely knock the socks off anything I've done before.

I've been lucky enough to work with Cat Harvey many times over the years most recently in Treasure Island where we played two of the daftest pirates to ever sail the seven seas.

As for May Miller well, I first saw May perform when I was only 16 in Glasgow and I knew there and then I wanted to be just like her when I grew up.

Fast forward nearly 20 years and I'm only actually sharing the same stage with her.

Both Cat and May are two of my dearest friends so I know we are going to have a ball with this show and that the audiences will love it too.

You’ll notice we are all draped in rainbow coloured feather boas in our picture as the show coincides with LGBT History Month in the UK which aims to increase the visibility of lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (“LGBT”) people, their history, lives and their experiences in the curriculum and culture of educational and other institutions, and the wider community.

We are delighted to be supporting this very important campaign.

Don't miss out on a fantastic and hilarious night out at the theatre.

I'm off tonight to see the Pavilion pantomime, Santa Claus Is Coming To Town. I had three wonderful years at the Pavilion and with all of my lovely pals Gary Lamont, Leah McCrae, Stephen Purdon, Johnny Mac, Nicola Park, Michelle Gallagher, Tyler Collins and of course Dean Park in the show this year it’s set to be a real Christmas Cracker.

Break a crimbo legs guys and hope you have a fantastic run, xxx
