So… I’ve lost over a stone now thanks to the Cambridge Diet.  I'm well on my way to reaching my target, which at the moment is to fit into a pair of denim shorts that I wore a few years back – pre-babies. I know my body has totally changed since then but surely I can squeeze into those ‘badboys’ for summer this year?

This week I've had my face de-fuzzed.... or to make it sound more glamorous – “dermaplaning”. Nicola at Skin Geek in Falkirk explained that it's basically a way of taking away the dead skin cells and the 'fuzz' off your face, leaving my skin feeling amazing and my make-up is going on a treat.  It was so nice to have a wee hour of pampering, and for those that keep asking me if it's sore - no, not at all, if anything it was very nice and relaxing and the results are amazing! Plus, JLo had it done, and she looks fab so it's worth a try. Although I've a long way to go before I look like her...hmmmm!

Feeling great with over a stone off and post dermaplane

It has been a completely pamper filled week, I had my hair done as well at Rae Peacock Hair in Perth (I get about). Although, in my defence it was a wee early birthday treat. I opted for a 90's silver with pink underneath do. I’m loving the pink and the new bob...sometimes you need a wee change, although I wonder how long this style will last for before I get 'bored' and need a change! For now, I am loving the pink.

New bob with 90’s silver and pink – I love a birthday treat.

Maybe you are one of the lucky ones going to see Still Game 2 'Bon Voyage' at the SSE Hydro during the run of shows... or have you already been? You've maybe stopped off at the new 'Craiglang' station, which for the time-being is replacing the SEC stop.... I also hear that Jack and Victor have recorded their own announcements for the train journey. There's definitely a wee selfie opportunity at the Craiglang sign...and you know how I love a wee selfie. I'm going to see the show on Valentine’s night, it’ll be a romantic date with Jack, Victor and the gang. If you're going, I'll maybe see you there...or I'll catch you at the station, queuing up for a “sign selfie.”

Glasgow Times:

Quick, queue up for the “sign selfie”

All this week on the show, Paul has been channeling his inner Scrooge and helping me and the rest of Scotland do Valentine’s on the cheap. I can see his point, it can be an expensive game and some roses on any other day would be normal price but on Valentine’s day the prices are bumped up. Although I do hope his wife Claire isn't tuning in this week as I fear that she will probably be getting everything on his 'cheap' list, which included oysters from Morrison’s washed down with, not champagne, but water!! Romance isn't dead yet in the Harper household! Find out what his top tip is tomorrow on the show - we're back at 4pm on Heart Scotland.
