WHO would take a toddler to a fashion show?

The same people who spend four days editing a photo of their wedding for Instagram, that's who.

Kanye West and Kim Kardashian's daughter North West is less than two-years-old and still wearing nappies.

Yet she has already been gifted a pair of Charlotte Olympia shoes, whose adult sizes sell for £425, a Hermes blanket and, reportedly, a diamond-encrusted tiara as well as her own personal tailor.

She has sat on the FROW (that's front row to you and me) of the world's best fashion shows. She has appeared in Vogue and modelled Chanel.

But the way in which little North deals with these situations should be applauded.

Last week when she was stuck sitting on her mum's knee next to Nicki Minaj at Alexander Wang's catwalk show during New York fashion week, the youngster took a tantrum until she was given some colourful stickers to play with.

The clue is in the stickers.

She also looked less than impressed - and positively irritable - during her dad Kanye's fashion show.

Mind you, she was sitting next to the terrifying Vogue editor Anna Wintour.

Speaking of Ms Wintour, let's not forget the time North had a wee on her dad's chest during the Vogue photoshoot.

It's as if North is trying to tell her parents something, isn't it? I love her for it.

Another celebrity sprog Harper Beckham behaved impeccably on the FROW at her mum Victoria's fashion's show, but I don't for a minute believe that's where she wanted to be.

It got me thinking about wee ones and where they belong.

They don't ask for much really do they?

Some time on the swings in the park? Cartoons? Stickers? Chocolate buttons?

Meanwhile, across the world opinion was split over which age you should be to see erotic film Fifty Shades of Grey in the cinema.

In France children as young as 12 can see it after film bosses decided against giving it an adult certificate.

I've heard it's tame but surely S&M is just for adults.

A recent poll found children were maturing much faster than previous generations because of technology.

It seems like young people have to grow up so fast nowadays - why can't we let children act their age?

As for North West, I look forward to seeing more age-appropriate outbursts. I suppose when your mum and dad are Kim and Kanye drama must be in your DNA.
