1 Willie Johnston:
The ex-Rangers forward spent several years with Vancouver Whitecaps, including helping them win the top competition, the Soccer Bowl, in 1979.
2 Charlie Cooke: The former Aberdeen, Dundee and Chelsea winger spent seven years with Los Angeles Aztecs, Memphis Rogues and California Surf.
3 Willie Donachie: The former Manchester City defender played for Portland Timbers in 1980 and 1981 and rejoined them in 1982.
4 Archie Gemmill: Famous for his 1978 World Cup goal, he spent a year with the Jacksonville Tea Men.
5 David Harvey: The Leeds United keeper was a team-mate of Johnston at Vancouver Whitecaps.
6 Peter Lorimer: The man with one of the hardest shots in British football had five years with Toronto Blizzard and Vancouver Whitecaps.
7 Bobby Clark: The former Aberdeen keeper spent a year with San Antonio Thunder.
8 Jim Holton: Had two spells in the USA, with Miami Toros and Detroit Express.
9 Graeme Souness: The ex-Liverpool and Rangers' hero had a short stint on loan with Montreal Olympic while he was a young player with Spurs.
10 Jimmy Gabriel: The ex-Everton player spent five years with Seattle Sounders.
